First Day in Oslo

It’s 9:34 am. I’m sitting in the hotel breakfast lounge having scrambled eggs and potatoes. I also have some sausages that I put on my plate, but remain undecided as to whether I will eat them or not. Since I’ve walked in and gotten my food from the buffet, I haven’t seen a server walk past, so I’m not sure how I will be paying for this when the time comes.

Today’s plan is to go and find my student residence, check in with the police station, and figure out when and where I have classes. There’s a part of me that is concerned that I have missed an important deadline or two and will not be able to attend classes here... fingers are crossed!

I just tried the sausage. It’s more like a warm pepperoni stick, not dissimilar to what is found at Keith’s Deli.

The coffee tastes very much like Tim Horton’s. It reminds me of the University of Calgary, which is the only place that I drink Tim Horton’s coffee.
