My bags are packed. My room is clean and empty. I'm experiencing many of the same emotions I felt when I left Calgary four months ago - I can't wait to get home and see everyone, but at the same time I've developed a real affinity for Norway and am sad to say goodbye to all of the friends I've made here.
Today was a good last day - it was a perfect blue sky, and the air was crisp and clean. I ventured out to the Holmekollen Ski Jump, where I was able to look down on the city and out to the Oslo Fjord, recognizing all of the buildings and neighbourhoods that I've come to know after many hours spent wandering through and around them.
Packing took much longer than anticipated, and was entirely exhausting. I have a few more things to tidy up, but I'll shortly be enjoying my final sleep in Oslo.
Next post will be from Calgary! It might even include pictures!
